For independent music teachers
MusiCue spots who hasn't paid, sends a reminder with a payment link they can tap, and follows up until the money's in. You approve — it collects. You just teach.
Fully refundable. Counts toward your first month. Parents just get a text — no app, no login. Nothing sends without your approval.
In their own words
Real posts from music teachers. The lessons are the easy part — it's everything around them that wears you down.
Literally waiting for payment from one of these parents in order to be able to eat.
r/MusicTeachersI literally did not receive a paycheck because I only had one student, who cancelled.
r/MusicTeachersThe admin side of running a private studio has become a second job.
r/MusicTeachersI can't book other regular students in it, or find the time to reschedule them.
r/MusicTeachersHow MusiCue works
Your calendar and however you get paid — Venmo, Zelle, or Stripe. No switching tools, no new spreadsheet.
MusiCue matches lessons against payments, flags who's behind, and writes a polite, firm reminder in your voice.
Every reminder carries a payment link — parents settle in one tap, no login. MusiCue keeps following up until it's paid, then logs it and stops.
Draft mode
MusiCue writes it. You read it, edit if you want, and approve. Your name, your studio — never an email blast you didn't see.
Reserve early access
We're onboarding a small first group of independent music teachers. Reserve your spot with a refundable $10 deposit — it counts toward your first month.
when we launch · cancel anytime
Your $10 deposit is fully refundable and applies to your first month. If we don't launch, you're refunded automatically — no questions.
This is an early-access reservation, not a subscription. You won't be charged the monthly price until you've tried MusiCue and decided to stay.
Questions
No. MusiCue drafts every message and waits for you. Nothing sends until you approve it. Once you trust it, you can let specific follow-ups go out on their own — but that's your choice, not the default.
No. MusiCue works alongside what you already use. It's not another dashboard to log into — it's the piece that actually does the chasing for you.
You connect however you already collect — Venmo, Zelle, or Stripe — and MusiCue matches payments against your scheduled lessons. When money lands, it marks the invoice settled and stops the reminders.
Your $10 comes straight back, automatically. The deposit only exists so we onboard teachers who actually want this — not to hold your money.
